By using the Fieldwork Test App you confirm you have understood and accepted this Privacy Policy. We reserve the right to amend this Privacy Policy at any time. The Privacy Policy is dated for tracking of updates.
By continuing to use the Fieldwork Test App you agree to the amendments to the Privacy Policy.
We collect and store the information entered into the Fieldwork Test App. Information collected is via inspection forms completed, with information requested configurable by Datascape Customers and able to be changed from time to time, and vary from job to job. It may include personal or commercially sensitive information required by Datascape Customers to perform their authorised function. The use and security of this information, once synched from the app, is the sole responsibility of the Datascape Customer.
Individual jobs may be configured to capture photos, videos, audio and location data. Jobs may also allow your location to be tracked, this "track log" feature can be clearly started, paused and stopped by the user, but once started will continue to track your location even when the app is in the background (for example while you take a phone call). Your location data will not be available to or shared with any third parties. These features will depend on you adjusting the privacy settings of your device, such as location services. This is not mandatory but may restrict functionality.
The Fieldwork Test App does not retain any of the data captured in forms, media files, or location information on device - once a job has been synched it is removed from the device storage. It is only available to the Datascape Customer for authorised use by the Datascape Customer.
We also collect and store log data in the form of information that is automatically recorded when you access or use the Fieldwork Test App, such as:
The above is used by Datacom to improve the usability of the Fieldwork Test App and to assist troubleshooting any issues.
We take privacy and information security seriously and comply with the Privacy Act 2020.
We hold your information on secure servers “in the cloud”. Please note that the Fieldwork Test Servers may be located in Australia or New Zealand. All information transfer is conducted using SSL encryption.
The Fieldwork Test App also stores information on your device. Please ensure your device security settings are sufficient for your needs. Datacom accepts no liability for any information loss or any other occurrence resulting from a breach of device security.
All information stored on the Fieldwork Test Server will be retained until it is transferred to the Datascape Customer, or the Datascape Customer terminates the Datascape service contract.
